To provide technical and administrative support to the various UFSC units, so that they can develop their activities in the most possibly efficient way, while complying with the basic guiding principles of any Brazilian public manager (i.e. legality, impersonality, morality, publicity and efficiency). These same values are set by PROAD in carrying out its administrative tasks.
To develop management strategies to overcome the organizational challenges of Public Management, while satisfying the various UFSC community demands from the point of view of administrative effectiveness.
- Ethical attitudes and transparent management practices to all parties involved (civil servants, suppliers, partners, government, etc.);
- Respect and appreciation of people, harmonious human relations;
- Promotion of a participatory and proactive management;
- Service excellence;
- Compliance with legal principles in actions and in the management of public resources.
